Practical help for enterprise platform decisions
Independent advice from someone who has owned enterprise platforms for 20+ years, and still does. I help software companies test a big pitch, organisations check a purchase or renewal before they sign, and BAs and product owners step up to owning a platform.

3 ways I can help
Focused engagements for common enterprise platform challenges.

The Deal Pressure Test
You’ll walk into the real meeting with an answer ready for the 5 objections your buyer will raise.

Platform Second Opinion
Before You Renew: go into the renewal knowing what to push back on, in order, and what to ask for. Before You Buy: sign, or walk away, knowing the 5 things to fix or negotiate first.

Platform Leadership Lab
By session 4, you’ll have had one of these conversations for real at work, and debriefed it with me.
Explore each engagement in more detail.
Each engagement is focused and practical, designed to help you make progress on a specific decision, problem or capability.
The Deal Pressure Test
You only see the pitch. The decision gets made in the meetings after you leave: finance, risk, IT support and the person burned by the last vendor. I’m the owner in those meetings. Pitch to me first.
- A 90-minute live session. You pitch, I push back the way your buyer will.
- Weak answers get fixed together, in the session.
- A one-page record: the top 5 objections, with a stronger answer to each.
Platform Second Opinion
2 versions. Before You Renew: check a contract before you sign again. Before You Buy: an independent view before you commit to a new platform.
- Renew: unused licences, price rises, AI add-ons and what to push back on.
- Buy: a verdict (go, go with changes, or stop and check) and the 5 things to fix or negotiate.
- Independent. No commissions, resale or implementation partners. Fixed fee.
Platform Leadership Lab
Practise the vendor, steering committee and roadmap conversations before you have them for real.
- One-to-one, open now: 4 sessions of 60 minutes on your own real situations.
- Small group, by waitlist: 4 online sessions of 90 minutes with up to 8 peers.
- 4 conversations: saying no to a change request, the vendor escalation, the handover and the roadmap fight.
A simple, focused process
These are deliberately focused engagements. The aim is to bring an experienced outside perspective to a specific decision, problem or capability.
"The real test of a platform decision is what happens after it’s made."
