The step up

Judgement, influence, vendors and decisions.

Why now

AI took the documentation. This is the part AI can’t take.

What you walk away with

By session 4, you’ll have had one of these conversations for real at work, and debriefed it with me.

Where and when

Open in Australia and overseas. Sessions run outside business hours, Melbourne time, with groups set by time zone.

4 conversations, 1 program

Every module is a conversation about an enterprise system, like HR, finance, CRM or service management. Practice and coaching, not teaching.

Saying no to a change request

An executive wants a change the platform shouldn’t take.

Push back without rejecting the outcome, and protect what only the platform owner looks after: upgrades, standard features and the data model.

The vendor escalation

The vendor missed a date or broke something, and you need it fixed.

Contracts, escalation paths, premium support, and the relationship after the fight.

The handover

The project team is about to leave and you’re inheriting the platform.

Agree what you’ll accept before go-live, get knowledge transfer that sticks, and tell the steering committee when it isn’t ready.

The platform roadmap fight

Business requests, tech debt, vendor releases and now AI features all want the same space.

Make the trade-offs, defend them, and fund them.

2 WAYS TO JOIN

HOW EACH SESSION WORKS

A real case, your move, then coaching

No role-play and no lectures. You bring a real situation and try it at work. I’ll hold you to it. The Lab is where you prepare and debrief.
1
Bring a real situation
Send one situation from your own work, and what’s making it hard, before the session. Read a short Systems & Scale pre-read.
2
Hear a case, make your move
I share a real case from my career, details changed, including what went wrong, stopping at the decision point. You draft what you’d say or send.
3
Get coached, then try it
I push back and help sharpen it. You leave with one thing to try at work, and report back next time.
GROUP WAITLIST

Join the group waitlist

No date is set until 8 people register. Groups are set by time zone, so tell me yours. When the list fills, I’ll set a date 4 to 6 weeks out and you’ll hear first. Nothing to pay until then.

Waitlist openRuns once 8 people register.
